Our publishing company was primarily founded to serve Education, so our main field of interest is developing and publishing textbooks, teaching aids and various portraits. We involve the best teachers, educators, graphic artists, and painters in our work, as a result of which our products - both in terms of design and professional quality - meet the highest international standards. According to the principles of Comenius, we put the emphasis on demonstration. (It is not by chance that the first writing during the evolution of mankind was pictography, which made understanding and communication easier. The present-day advanced writing systems are simplified versions of pictography and the biggest problem of the students is to transform the text into pictures based on their imperfect knowledge.) Our main aim is to make the otherwise not very easy learning process easier, thus helping students to achieve the most possible with the least effort. We also intend to give a hand to teachers in their everyday work, because better working conditions lead to better results in teaching.
During the past decade, our publishing company has published almost two hundred types of teaching aids, several hundred original artwork portraits and more than fifty textbooks. We believe that the future and the success of every nation are determined by the high standards of education, the knowledge of the growing youth. According to our Comenian creed we would like not only Hungarians to benefit from these materials, so our publishing company has started the translation of our teaching aids to different foreign languages. At present the English, the German, and the Romanian translations are under way, which will soon be available on our website. The complete material is expected to be ready by the second half of 2004 and then our entire collection will be accessible. We wish to widen the range to other languages as well.
